Vanguard Dual Stereomicroscope 1255SL, 10X/40X

This VanGuard Model 1255SL Stereo Microscope features upper and lower LED illumination to provide the brightest and most energy-efficient lighting available on the market. The precision 10X / 40X stereo optics produce high-resolution, three-dimensional images. In addition to the included 10X eyepiece, optional 15X and 20X eyepieces are available to customize for specific magnification requirements. Large, comfortable base measures 9.5 x 8 inches (245x205mm).

• Viewing Head. Binocular head rotates 360° and is inclined at 45°. Features interpupillary and dioptric adjustments, a large field of view, and a 102mm working distance.
• Included Eyepieces. 10X Widefield (DIN).
• Stereo Optics. 10X / 40X Dual-magnification.
• Focusing Movement. Large, knurled knobs drive rack and pinion mechanism for easy, controlled focusing. Also features a slip clutch mechanism to protect the gears, tension control, and 65mm of total vertical travel.
• Upper (Incident) Illumination. LED with rheostat dim-to-bright control.
• Lower (Transmitted) Illumination. LED with rheostat dim-to-bright control.
• Stage Plate. Frosted glass stage plate and black/white reversible stage plates come standard.
• Stage Clips. Locked-on, stainless steel spring-loaded stage clips.
• Base. Stable 245x205mm base fitted with anti-skid rubber feet.
• Body. Cast-metal, ergonomic body with stain-resistant enamel finish.
