Also called Caustic Soda, sodium hydroxide is a white deliquescent solid soluble in water, alcohol and glycerol.

This reagent grade sodium hydroxide meets purity standards of the American Chemical Society (ACS) and is suitable for applications in which repeatable results are desired.

Sodium hydroxide pellets are corrosive to tissue in the presence of moisture and will generate heat when added to water.

This is a stock chemical that usually ships within 24 hours.
