This 100g bottle of Sodium Acetate will produce approximately TWO OUNCES of supersaturated solution. We also sell Sodium Acetete in a 500g size that will make approximately ten ounces of solution. Click here to view the 500g size.
When sodium acetate trihydrate crystals are heated, they melt. When this melt cools, it gives a supersaturated solution of sodium acetate in water. By clicking the solution, a nucleation center is formed which causes the solution to crystallize into solid sodium acetate trihydrate again. (ref wikipedia)
