The MKIII system measures, records and transmits the following data:
- TIME: Displays either current time or date.
- TEMPERATURE: Displays outside and inside temperature as well as wind chill and dew point.
- HUMIDITY: Displays Relative Humidity and the Temperature Humidity Index (THI).
- BAROMETER: Displays barometric pressure and indicates if the pressure is falling, rising or is steady.
- RAINFALL: Displays two rainfall counters current and accumulated. These may be reset independently.
- WIND SPEED: Displays current wind speed and rose shows wind direction.
It also computes: DEW POINT, WIND CHILL, TEMPERATURE/HEAT INDEX and stores/displays WIND DIRECTION VARIATION and MAXIMUMS/MINIMUMS.

Option #1 - Without Rain Gauge (MKIIIRTN-LR) - The Rain Gauge cannot be retro-fitted without factory modifications and so should be included in original order if needed at a later time.
Option #2 - With Integrated Rain Gauge (MKIIIRTI-LR) - Add $90.00. The rain gauge is an unlimited tipping bucket with an 8 inch diameter collector. Resolution: 0.01"; 0.25 mm. Accuracy: ± 2% at 1.5 inches per hour.
