This chemical is bright red, lustrous crystals. Soluble in water, slightly in alcohol. Uses include production of pigments, cyanotyping, laboratory reagents and electroplating. The compound itself has low toxicity but decomposes on strong heating to evolve highly toxic fumes. This is a stock chemical.
