This Liebig condenser is made of borosilicate, heat-resistant glass. Efficient cooling is achieved by the sealed inner tube surrounded by a large capacity outer jacket for cooling water.
The condenser's water jacket is 300mm (11-3/4") long with a 5/16 inch hose nipple connection at both the side arms. The top and bottom opening are plain and not ground glass. Top opening accommodates a #2 rubber stopper. Overall length is 21-3/8" and bottom tip tapers to approx. 3/8" OD.
A Liebig condenser is suitable for a variety of uses including distillation, reflux operations, and extractions.
