This compact and easy-to-read wireless weather station from LaCrosse Technologies is a high-quality, convenient, weather-measuring/forecast system. Barometer forecasts the weather with three weather icons and trend arrow. Remote temperature sensor now transmits to the base unit from as far as 330 feet (line of sight).
The multi-featured station monitors your outdoor temperature with the included wireless temperature sensor. Indoor temperature and humidity is read by sensors inside the weather station base unit. Minimum and maximum temps are tracked and recorded with the date and time. A press of a button toggles back and forth between indoor and outdoor readings. The Swiss Precision Barometric Sensor follows air pressure changes and predicts the coming weather as either good, fair, or bad . Time and date information is radio-controlled for year-round accuracy without ever needing adjustment, even for Daylight Savings Time. You can choose between 12 or 24-hour display as well as Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature data.
This weather station includes the main unit and one remote temperature wireless sensor operating at 915MHz with a line-of-sight range up to 330 feet (100m). It also will read up to three remote sensors, so you can receive temperature data for indoors, outdoors, and two other locations, all at the same time. (Extra sensors are optionally available.)
A large LCD forecast icon indicates ... Full Sun, Sun with Clouds, or Clouds with Rain. The forecast icons change when the unit detects a change in air pressure. Air pressure trends are also indicated with up or down arrows. Temperature and humidity readings are also displayed in large LCD numbers. Contrast control of the LCD readout has eight settings available.
The removable table-stand allows for the main unit to sit on a desk or bedside table as well as hang on a wall. Like all La Crosse products, this station comes with a one-year, limited warranty.
