- Onion Roots — One of the great slides for looking at mitosis "Cell Division". look at the pointed end of the root. Those blue masses are chromosomes and in some cells at high magnification you can see the chromosomes being pulled apart for cell division.
- Corn Stem — Notice the many open channels in the stem for bringing water and nutrients in and out of the plant.
