The Hanna HI 99121 pH meter kit is widely used in the greenhouse, nursery, and agriculture industry where measurement of soil pH needs to be conducted in the field directly without compromising accuracy. With the HI 99121 kit you can insert the electrode straight into the soil or into prepared diluted sample. The kit includes a plastic auger to aid inserting the electrode directly into the ground.
This soil pH kit employs the HI 991000 portable waterproof pH meter with the HI 1292D pH electrode. It has a conic, rugged tip for easy insertion in moist or soft soil. The electrode incorporates a temperature sensor on the tip to quickly measure and compensate for the soil temperature. It also has an amplifier to boost the signal and provide greater measurement stability.
The dual-level LCD shows the pH value from 0 to 14 in hundredths of units. It also simultaneously displays the temperature on the secondary level. The menu-driven custom microprocessor helps with clear user prompts during operation and calibration. Any value set, as well as the calibration data, are retained even during battery replacement.
