The MKIII-LR system measures, records and transmits the following data:
- TIME: Displays either current time or date.
- TEMPERATURE: Displays outside and inside temperature as well as wind chill and dew point.
- HUMIDITY: Displays Relative Humidity and the Temperature Humidity Index (THI).
- BAROMETER: Displays barometric pressure and indicates if the pressure is falling, rising or is steady.
- RAINFALL: Displays two rainfall counters current and accumulated. These may be reset independently.
- WIND SPEED: Displays current wind speed and rose shows wind direction.
It also computes: DEW POINT, WIND CHILL, TEMPERATURE/HEAT INDEX and stores/displays WIND DIRECTION VARIATION and MAXIMUMS/MINIMUMS.

The Sensor Assembly...
The Rainwise Long Range MK-III-LR rooftop sensor assembly offers improved durability and serviceability. It features a powerful new 2.4 GHz spread spectrum radio that increases transmission range to an incredible one mile line of site. It also features real time, 2 second wind speed and direction update interval.
The solar-charged battery supply is guaranteed to provide continuous operation below 60° latitude, and will operate at least 25 days without sun. The passive solar shield for the temperature/humidity sensor is modeled after the National Weather Service design. The solar panel and battery are guaranteed for five years. It's sleek design (just 5" x 6" x 27", and under 7 lbs) belies its rugged construction. The extension mounting mast, fabricated from 11/4" schedule #80 PVC pipe, will fit any standard tripod or TV antenna mount. An attached Rain Gauge can also be included in a system. Note: Integrated Rain Gauge cannot be retro-fitted without factory modifications, and therefore should be included with original order, if needed for future use.
The Weather Oracle® MKIII Multi-Display...
The Multi-Display shows all parameters at once. Time (date), Temperature (outside, inside, wind chill, dew point), Relative Humidity (temperature/heat index), Barometric Pressure (rising, falling), Rainfall (current, accumulation), Wind Speed and Wind Direction (variation). Maximums and minimums are available to the month, day, hour and nearest minute.
The display offers brightness controls to suit the ambient lighting conditions. It can be wall-mounted or placed free-standing on a shelf or table. A choice of frames is offered. Wireless design allows as many display and/or computer interfaces as desired. Display offers English or Metric units for each parameter.

Option #1 - Without Rain Gauge (MKIIIRTN-LR) - The Rain Gauge cannot be retro-fitted without factory modifications and so should be included in original order if needed at a later time.
Option #2 - With Integrated Rain Gauge (MKIIIRTI-LR) - Add $90.00. The rain gauge is an unlimited tipping bucket with an 8 inch diameter collector. Resolution: 0.01"; 0.25 mm. Accuracy: ± 2% at 1.5 inches per hour.
