Glycerin, (glycerol) is a clear, colorless, oderless, syrupy liquid. It is soluble in water and alcohol. Many uses include resins, gums, dynamite, perfumes, softeners. This grade is not for food or pharmaceutical use.
This recipe will make 2-1/2 cups of liquid for blowing GIANT soap bubbles!!
What you need...
- 1/4 cup of dishwashing detergent.
- 2-1/2 cups of distilled water.
- 2 tablespoons of glycerine.
- Mixing bowl.
- Spoon.
- Plastic storage container.
- Bubble wands of your choice.
Procedure...
Combine the ingredients in the bowl by stirring gently. Avoid creating bubbles while stirring and remove any foam that forms on the surface. Pour the liquid into a labeled container with a tight lid until ready to use. It will keep indefinitely when properly stored after each use.
For SUPER strong giant bubbles, add hydroxyethylcellulose – found in K-Y® Brand Jelly and J-Lube Lubricant Powder.
