Cupric Nitrate, 25lb

Cupric (or Copper) Nitrate appears as blue crystals. It is soluble in water and alcohol and is an oxidizer. It serves as a mordant in textile dyeing and uses include electroplating, creating various finishes on metals and in paints.

Used in the following metal patina formulas:

• No. 6 for Basic Green
• No. 8 for Cold Process Green
• No. 17 for Deep Rust Red
• No. 21 for Dull Pink (For Copper & Copper Plate)
• No. 28 for Brown - Greenish Yellow (For Cast Bronze)
• No. 32 Red (For Cast Brass)
