This standard size 30gm capacity assay crucible is rated at 1950° F, but has been used to 2300° F. Users have relayed that when the assay flux is dissolving part of the crucible, adding 1/2 spoonful of silica to the assay flux prevents the assay formula from attacking the silica in the crucible.
