The microscope provides magnification from 10x to 40x and 150x on a 19" monitor. It is ideally suited for examining such objects as coins, stamps, insects, gems, circuit boards, etc. Also, you can examine specimen slides at low and high powers.
This digital microscope is a Plug & Play type where your computer should automatically recognize the driver type on Windows XP and Vista Operating Systems. If you use Mac OS (Version 10.4.9 and higher) the device is also Plug & Play, so no drivers are needed. However, you still need Mac OS compatible image capture software such as Photo Booth, iChat or Skype.
