A top performing digital refractometer designed to measure
multiple sample types over a very wide range at high level of accuracy.

The ATAGO RX-9000 (alpha) is a fully automatic digital refractometer with the highest level of accuracy compared to other instruments of its kind. Its wide measurement range of Refractive Index 1.32500 to 1.70000 nD and Brix 0.00 to 95.00% makes the RX-9000-alpha suitable for multiple sample types such as measuring oils and fats with high melting points, aroma oils of high refractive index, and organic solvents. The large digital readout makes reading the measurement value faster and easier than when using analog and Abbe refractometers while meeting demands for high accuracy measurements.

RX-9000 (alpha) Features...

  • Easy Measuring - The RX (alpha) offers three unique modes for measuring samples.
  • Easy Handling - Automatically calculates a user scale when three points of measurement data are entered.
  • Easy Verification - Flash memory allows the user to look up the past 30 measurement values with the touch of a button!
  • Easy Viewing - By setting upper and lower standard values, a graphic upper and lower limit bar can be displayed with the value. Easily see if your measurement is within your desired range.
  • Easy double checking - Manual calibration function that compensates for the difference between standard liquids, or other units.
  • Three year warranty - If registered with Atago.

The RX-9000 (alpha) has a built-in Peltier thermo module for maintaining a constant sample temperature while taking measurements. Manual calibration is also possible to adjust to standard liquid values and to correct differences in measurement values between instruments.
