Sodium Nitrate is soluble in water and readily forms colorless hexagonal crystals. It is a strong oxidizer but stable under ordinary conditions of use and storage. Its many uses include the manufacture of pyrotechnics, pottery enamel and fertilizer. Also used in a food grade as a cured meat tenderizer.
Sodium Nitrate is a stock chemical. Usually ships within 24 hours but only to destinations within the continental United States using UPS ground. No air deliveries allowed.
